The client required a section of kerbing to be installed within their factory as part of ongoing improvements to create a sealed, hygienic environment suitable for food production. The new kerbing needed to match the existing profile already in place within the facility while also providing a durable, easy to clean finish.
Aqualine by Alway was engaged to design and manufacture a bespoke solution that would integrate seamlessly with the existing kerbing. The design incorporated a double sided stainless steel profile with a flat face on both sides, ensuring consistency with the surrounding installation.
Following a site assessment, our team developed a custom stainless steel kerbing profile specifically to match the dimensions and appearance of the existing kerbing within the factory.
The kerbing was manufactured from stainless steel to provide durability, corrosion resistance and a hygienic finish suitable for food production environments. The bespoke double sided profile ensured the kerbing could be installed within the required location while maintaining a consistent appearance across both visible faces.
Manufacture was completed within a tight timeframe to meet the client’s schedule.
From initial design through to manufacture and installation, the entire project was delivered within two weeks. This rapid turnaround allowed the client to progress their wider factory improvements without disruption to their programme.
